LCG Bioscience is based at Bourn Hall, the world’s first in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) clinic, providing a unique environment for studies in reproductive and women’s health.
The pioneering work undertaken here during 1980s and 1990s continues to this day.
We undertake studies in all areas of women's health including:
- Fertility
- Menopause
- Contraception
- Gynaecology
- Menstrual dysfunction
We maintain large centralised volunteer and patient databases, including post-menopausal and surgically sterilised women, to ensure optimum recruitment rates.
Full time dedicated Consultant Gynaecologists are assisted by teams of highly qualified research nurses and support staff.
Two operating theatres and full support facilities are on-site and available for specialist reproductive health procedures including ultrasonography, out-patient hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy and semen analysis.
